Wrtl arc 90

Wrtl arc 90s are one of the best modern street lanterns. They have aluminium canopies and have a thick red seal to keep water out of them. Surrey council installed over 30,000 Wrtl libras and 50,000 Wrtl arcs.

surrey

These Wrtl arcs in Surrey were installed around 2012, and were removed around 2021. What a waste of perfectly good and working street lights. Now all of the Wrtl arcs in Surrey have now gone. This one has a leafnut branch node on it, however most will have the normal leafnut node.

This Wrtl arc has the normal leafnut node on it And it is mounted post-top.

These Wrtl arcs are on a double-armed column

I found a road and a roundabout full of Surrey Green arcs when I was in the car on Sat 20 July 2024. They are a true survivor! The photos are from google maps, as I forgot to get photos of them.

A30

These Wrtl arc 90s are on the A30.

Well, there is something wrong with the arc 90 above the sign, it has last its canopy! As the water can get into this arc, it probably doesn’t work as the water would have blown the fuse in the column's base, and I guess that the gear is very rusty!
