Urbis abbey

Urbis Abby’s are nice heritage lanterns, they also often have a prismatic bowl on them. They look like the dw windsor windsor lantern.

These urbis abbeys are in Staines.

this urbis abbey is on a double-armed column, however there is only 1 lantern, interesting. The column is a urbis Blenheim  column. I still don’t know where the lantern went.

Despite this column only having 1 lantern, the other lantern actually still works!

Here is a double-armed column that actually still has both lanterns!

Here are these lanterns at night.

Here is a picture of the lanterns on Tilly’s lane in Staines. One of the lanterns is Dayburning and one of them has its top missing. They have mini-cells on them and have a prismatic bowl like the other lanterns.

Here are these lanterns at night.

This urbis abbey is by Staines bridge. Sadly, it has a LED cob in it. As there is a photocell on the side of the column, I just had to cover up the photocell and switch the light on! It does have a mini-cell on the lantern, but the one that works is on the side of the column.

Here is the mini-cell on the lantern. It looks like a very old cell.

This is a different column to the one in the picture above, but it looks the same. You can see the mini-cell on the column.

Here is the lantern lit. This is when i covered the mini-cell.
