The thorn SOX gear was used in most of thorn’s SOX lanterns. The ignitors are aluminium-canned.

This thorn ignitor is in my thorn beta 5 from around 2003.

Here is the ballast from the 2003 thorn beta 5. It can be used with 35 and 55w SOX lamps.
